its late and my eyes are tired but i really wanna make this thing a habit. I just looked at my computer clock and had to remind myself that it wasn’t ten minutes fast like all my other clocks. i’m a “set-my-clocks-fast” type of person. That has to say something about me, right? I have no idea. I think it’s just a cushion for my procrastination….a chance to say “oh..i’ve got ten minutes”.
I wish i could set my cell phone clock fast. That’d be money. I rely too much on that thing. But so does everyone else. I bet if you could set cell phone clocks fast, a lot of people would. That should be a new feature.
i had to work tonight. it was mizzou’s football coach’s birthday today. there was a big surprise party in the back room. pretty wine & cheese. and I was the lovely hostess who had the splendid opportunity of walking him from the door to the room. my fifteen minutes of fame. It was so cute…later on in the evening this group of like 15 old people came in for a reservation. When they got there, coach pinkel was by the bar, so it turned into this big meet & greet. I bet that’s exactly what he wanted for his birthday.
my birthday is saturday. I’ll be twenty. don’t really get to celebrate. I’m going to the lake to work. It’s “harbor hop”…some big summer kickoff event…so hopefully i’ll make some KM (kash money). I’m sad that i’ll be working on my birthday..but maybe i can slip that into convo and get sympathy tips? haha…ohh, wow. But its whatever. I had to work christmas, and my birthday is basically equivalent to christmas…so I might as well work that too. my momma’s coming down to the lake for the week, though…so that should be nice. I miss her.
